## Getting here from Haddam

Route 9 runs north along the Connecticut River from Haddam into Middletown. From Higganum, Route 81 climbs up to meet it. Route 154 follows the river more slowly through Haddam and Higganum if you would rather take the scenic line. Come off into downtown Middletown and Main Street Market is the indoor marketplace on the east side of Main Street.

## Why it matters

Haddam is in Middlesex County, and before we opened there was no dirty soda shop anywhere in the county. Yelp still points people from this part of the state to shops more than thirty miles away.

## What we make

Fourteen drinks built to order. Seven are prebiotic — built on Olipop, Poppi, Bloom and Halfday rather than classic soda — and four Refreshers use coconut water or sparkling water with no soda at all. There is a full build-your-own bar with every syrup, puree and cream we stock.

It is an easy stop on the way back from Haddam Meadows or the river.
