Sip Well is Middletown's dirty soda counter, at **386 Main Street** inside Main Street Market. Fourteen drinks built to order — classic dirty sodas, prebiotic sodas and teas, and refreshers with no soda in them at all — plus a full build-your-own bar.

## Finding us

We are on Main Street itself, in the middle of downtown's seven walkable blocks. Main Street Market is the indoor marketplace on the east side of the street; come in through the Main Street entrance and we are one of the shops inside, so you are looking for the building rather than a street-facing storefront.

Wesleyan's campus is a short walk up the hill, and Middlesex Health on Crescent Street is a few blocks north.

## Why there wasn't one before

Middletown sits where Route 9 and Interstate 91 meet, which makes it the middle of the state in a fairly literal sense. Downtown has close to 200 independent businesses across seven blocks, and until now not one of them poured a dirty soda. Yelp's own results for this part of Connecticut still point people to Plainville, more than thirty miles away.
