Getting here from Cromwell

Cromwell shares its southern border with Middletown, so this is about as close as a neighbouring town gets. Route 9 runs straight down from Cromwell into Middletown; come off into downtown and Main Street Market is the indoor marketplace on the east side of Main Street.

Middletown Area Transit also runs between Middletown and Cromwell if you would rather not drive.

Why it matters

Before we opened, Cromwell's closest dirty soda was in Plainville. Yelp still points people from this part of the state to shops more than thirty miles away — there was no dirty soda shop anywhere in Middlesex County.
