At Sip Well, 386 Main Street, inside Main Street Market in downtown Middletown. We are the only dirty soda counter in Middletown and in Middlesex County — the nearest others are in Plainville, Guilford and Naugatuck, all more than twenty miles away.

Yes — that is how Sip Well started. Before the Main Street counter we ran as a mobile soda bar, with a regular slot at GastroPark in West Hartford and a vendor table on the regional card show circuit, and we still take bookings for weddings, offices and parties. That is coming shortly. Ordering will run through Square, the same system we take payment on in the shop, so you can pick your drinks up at the counter without waiting while they are built. The link will appear on our order page and in our Instagram bio as soon as it is switched on — until then, order at the counter.

Prebiotic sodas are soft drinks made with added plant fibre and less sugar than a classic soda. We build on Olipop, Poppi and Bloom, plus Halfday iced tea, and seven of our fourteen signature drinks use them. Prebiotic drinks are 24oz $8 and 32oz $9. We are telling you what is in the can, not making a health claim — check the label if you want the detail.

Dirty soda is a soft drink built to order with flavoured syrups, cream and sometimes fruit puree or cold foam over ice. It started in Utah and spread nationally through social media. At Sip Well a classic example is Dr. J — Dr Pepper with vanilla syrup and coconut cream. The idea is that the drink is assembled for you rather than poured from a can.

We are inside Main Street Market at 386 Main Street — the indoor marketplace on the east side of Main Street in downtown Middletown, which also houses The HandMade Hub and other small businesses. Come through the Main Street entrance and we are one of the shops inside, so look for the building rather than a street-facing storefront.

Yes. Our four Refreshers are built on coconut water or sparkling water with no soda at all — Sedona Sunset, Layton Way, Sweet September and Golden Coast. Golden Coast uses only fruit puree and no syrup, so it is the least sweet drink we make. Our two Prebiotic Teas are built on Halfday iced tea rather than soda.

Signature Sodas and Refreshers are 24oz $6 and 32oz $7. Prebiotic Sodas and Prebiotic Teas are 24oz $8 and 32oz $9 — the prebiotic bases cost more than classic soda, which is the whole of the difference. Create Your Own starts at $6 for 24oz, depending on the base you pick. Cold foam adds $1; True Lime and True Lemon add $0.40.

Our first day is September 1, 2026, at 386 Main Street in Middletown. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 4pm. We are closed on Mondays. Any holiday change goes up on our Instagram, @sipwellcrafteddrinks, first.

We stock sugar-free syrups in blue raspberry, coconut, peach and vanilla, and you can build any Create Your Own drink with them. Diet Dr Pepper, Diet Coke and Sprite Zero are all available as bases. If you are managing sugar closely, ask us at the counter and we will tell you exactly what goes in.

Yes, and the whole bar is open to you. Pick from sixteen bases, thirteen syrups, four sugar-free syrups, three fruit purees and vanilla or coconut cream, then add cold foam, True Lime or True Lemon. The full list of every option we stock is on our menu page — nothing is held back.

Our four Refreshers are built on coconut water or sparkling water, so there is no soda and no tea in them. Sun and Moon is built on Sprite. If caffeine matters to you, tell us at the counter and we will build something on a caffeine-free base — and check the can, since we would rather you read the label than take our word for it.
